Dr. Dylan Semu

Chiropractor

Dr. Dylan Semu received his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia in 2003. He started as a Chiropractic physician in a large medical practice facility in New Zealand and has been working in private practice in Bellingham since 2009. Dr. Semu understands the importance of taking a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare and sees Chiropractic as a vital part of overall wellbeing. With over 20 years of clinical experience he has worked with a wide range of patients – young and old, big and small, from those looking for pain relief and injury recovery (workplace, automobile, sports etc) to those looking to maintain health, mobility or improve athletic performance.

Dr. Semu is honored to be a 4th generation holistic healer in his family and was mentored by his mother who was a practitioner of the traditional Samoan art of massage (called fo’fo‘). Dr. Semu has grown up with an intimate understanding of how manual medicine can unlock the body’s innate recovery mechanisms, allowing it to heal.

Dr. Semu dedicates his free time to his wife Serina and his 6 children. He is an avid sports fan, and when not in practice you will find him helping out with the local rugby club, engaged with his church/community activities or attending his athletically and scholastically inclined children’s events.
